This role combines financial analysis, data querying, forecasting, and strategic decision support. You will work directly with the company's Snowflake data warehouse to retrieve and analyze financial data, build and improve financial models, and explain what the numbers mean for business performance and strategic decisions. This is a corporate finance position focused on financial planning and analysis rather than accounting or controllership. The role is well suited to someone who enjoys understanding how a business operates, automating recurring work, and turning financial data into useful insights. Take ownership of existing financial models and improve them as you develop a deeper understanding of the business. Build familiarity with the Snowflake data warehouse and the data supporting revenue and cost reporting. Develop working relationships with business unit leaders and technology teams. Analyze revenue by client, region, and category across transaction fees, payment for order flow, and interest income, working toward daily revenue visibility. Write and maintain SQL queries to retrieve and analyze data directly from Snowflake. Build and maintain financial forecasts and analytical models used by leadership for business decisions. Support cost analysis and respond to ad hoc analytical requests from senior leadership. Automate recurring analytical tasks and implement checks to improve data accuracy and reliability. Document financial models, queries, and processes so other team members can understand and maintain them. Use AI tools to support analytical work while applying appropriate context, verification, and quality checks. Required Qualifications 1–2 years of experience as a Financial Analyst or Data Analyst. Working SQL knowledge, including the ability to write queries using joins and aggregations against a data warehouse. Strong Excel financial modeling skills. Working understanding of capital markets, including the roles of brokers, exchanges, and clearing firms. Regular hands-on use of AI tools, such as Claude, for practical work deliverables, with an understanding of the context and verification required to produce accurate results. Curiosity about business performance and the ability to connect financial analysis with business decisions. Ability to learn new systems and business processes quickly. Strong attention to accuracy, automation, and documentation. Clear, concise communication skills and the ability to explain analytical findings. Comfort working with ambiguity, making reasonable decisions, and documenting the rationale. Must be based in the United States and authorized to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship. Preferred Qualifications Experience working with Snowflake. Experience with Claude Cowork or Claude Code, including creating Skills, Artifacts, Shared Projects, and context files. Experience at a brokerage, clearing firm, or brokerage technology provider. Performance-based annual bonus. Location and Work Arrangement This is a fully remote position for candidates based in the United States, with no office attendance required. Because clients and colleagues are located across APAC, EMEA, and the United States, the role requires working outside typical 9 a.m.–5 p.m. Eastern Time hours a few times per week.
