The Role We are seeking a proactive and well-organised Admin Assistant to support our day-to-day office operations and administrative activities at SSE. The ideal candidate will have 2–5 years of experience in administration, office coordination, or a similar role, with hands-on experience in fleet coordination and office management. Key Responsibilities Support the smooth day-to-day operation of the office and ensure administrative requirements are handled efficiently. Coordinate company fleet activities, including vehicle allocation, schedules, maintenance, servicing, and related documentation. Follow up with drivers, vehicle providers, workshops, and other external suppliers as required. What You Bring 2–5 years of experience in office administration, administrative coordination, or a similar role. Previous hands-on experience in fleet coordination and office management is required. Strong organisational and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities. Good communication and follow-up skills, with the confidence to coordinate with employees, suppliers, drivers, and service providers. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook. Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records and documentation. A proactive, practical, and solutions-oriented approach to daily administrative tasks. Ability to work independently while also supporting different teams and management. The role will support personnel operations for 1,400+ employees and will report directly to the People Operations & Total Rewards Supervisor.
