About The Role
IST Networks' Professional Services team builds the conversational AI experiences that sit on top of enterprise CX platforms. As a Conversational AI Engineer, you will own end-to-end delivery of voicebots and chatbots across platforms including Kore.ai, Genesys Cloud, Sprinklr, and Cognigy — engaging directly with clients to understand automation needs and building solutions that drive measurable business value.
What you will do
Meet with clients and stakeholders to identify operational pain points and automation opportunities, and translate them into structured technical specifications
Design and build end-to-end conversational flows for voicebots and chatbots across Kore.ai, Genesys Cloud, Sprinklr, and Cognigy
Own the full delivery lifecycle — requirements, architecture, build, testing, deployment, and handover
Develop context-aware, multi-turn conversations with proper fallback and escalation handling
Integrate conversational solutions with backend systems, CRMs, and enterprise APIs
Configure and train NLP/NLU models — intent classification, entity extraction, and dialogue management
Apply prompt engineering to optimise LLM-powered conversation flows, including MCP integrations and agentic tool-use patterns
Provide technical support for live deployments, monitor bot performance, and analyse conversation logs to drive improvement
Maintain client communication throughout delivery and contribute to internal documentation and reusable delivery assets
Requirements
What we are looking for
1–3 years of hands-on experience building chatbots and/or voicebots
Practical experience with at least one enterprise conversational platform (Kore.ai, Genesys Cloud, Cognigy, or Sprinklr) is a strong plus
Working knowledge of NLP/NLU — intent training, entity recognition, slot filling, and dialogue state management
Experience with REST/GraphQL API integration, and familiarity with prompt engineering and LLM integration (OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, Claude, Cohere)
Basic scripting or programming ability in Python or JavaScript, and familiarity with cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
Clear, confident communicator able to present technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Computational Linguistics, Information Systems, or a related discipline
Why this role is different
You will work across four major conversational platforms rather than specialising in one, taking solutions from first client conversation through to live deployment and tuning.

About Beno Technologies
Beno Technologies is the company behind Beno, the UAE's leading marketplace for luxury rentals and experiences — supercars, yachts, helicopters, private jets, desert buggies and water sports — bookable through our website and our iOS, Android and Huawei apps. Founded in Dubai in 2018, we operate across the city and support customers around the clock.
The role
As a Junior Engineer at Beno Technologies, you will be involved in developing and maintaining our web applications under the guidance of senior engineers. Our web applications streamline our rental services for customers, admins, and partners, and they require a delicate understanding of web performance and SEO. Your contributions will have a direct impact on sales.
Our frontend is at the heart of our online sales; we want it to be responsive and stable. Working with us entails:
Attention to website performance, SEO, and the rendering life cycle.
Using CMS systems to collaborate with the marketing team and content editors.
Consuming APIs following HATEOAS principles.
Developing backend-for-frontend micro services.
Agentic coding — we work with AI coding agents daily, and you stay accountable for everything that ships under your name.
Building and maintaining features in our Angular applications, for customers and for internal users.
Turning Figma designs into responsive, accessible components that hold up on phones and desktops.
Supporting multi-language content and right-to-left layouts.
Taking part in code review and pairing with senior frontend engineers.
What we are looking for
0–2 years of professional experience, or a solid portfolio of personal, open-source or academic projects.
Solid HTML, CSS and modern JavaScript, with some TypeScript.
Working knowledge of Angular — components, services, routing, modules or standalone — or another component framework plus the appetite to pick up Angular quickly.
Basic RxJS: observables, common operators, and not leaking subscriptions.
An understanding of responsive layout, cross-browser behaviour, and why a page feels slow.
Comfortable with Git and a branch-and-pull-request workflow.
Attention to visual detail — spacing, hover and loading states, empty and error cases.
Willingness to write tests for the code you ship.
Nice to have
Server-side rendering with Angular Universal, or other SSR experience.
Practical SEO knowledge — structured data, meta handling, Core Web Vitals.
NgRx or another state-management approach.
Angular Material, Tailwind, or structured SCSS.
Accessibility awareness (WCAG basics, keyboard navigation, screen readers).
Testing tools — Jasmine, Jest, Cypress or Playwright.
RTL layout experience, or Arabic alongside English.
How we work
At Beno Technologies, we are seeking curious individuals who are eager to learn and can work on challenges with guidance from senior team members. As a Frontend Engineer, you should be proactive and willing to contribute to improving our processes and systems.
We value individuals who are self-motivated, disciplined, and proactive. We encourage learning and growth, and you'll have opportunities to develop your skills under the mentorship of senior engineers.
As a remote-first company, we are looking for someone who can work effectively in a remote environment and has good written English communication skills. If your English language skills are great, this would boost your position in the company.
We assume that candidates have the necessary hardware, fast internet, and stable power for remote work. We understand that individual needs may vary, and we will do our best to provide for additional needs on a case-by-case basis.
Practicalities
Full-time, permanent, remote work setup.
Your working day should follow UAE hours (GST, UTC+4).
Reports to the Frontend Lead, with a named senior engineer responsible for your ramp-up.
