Role Description The Senior Accountant role at MYA Restaurant & Lounge is a full-time, on-site position based in Cairo. The Senior Accountant will oversee day-to-day financial operations, including general ledger maintenance, accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, and month-end closing activities. This role will prepare accurate financial statements and management reports, monitor budgets, analyze variances, and support cash flow planning. The Senior Accountant will ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal controls, and will coordinate with external auditors when required. The role will also collaborate closely with operations and management teams to provide financial insights that support decision-making and business growth. Qualifications Strong proficiency in core accounting functions, including general ledger accounting, financial reporting, and account reconciliation. Experience with budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and financial analysis, preferably within the hospitality or restaurant industry. Knowledge of tax regulations, compliance requirements, and internal control frameworks relevant to corporate and hospitality environments. Advanced skills in accounting software and ERP systems, as well as strong Excel skills for data analysis and reporting. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities, with high attention to detail and accuracy. The Human Resources Manager will develop and implement HR policies, performance management processes, and training programs to support employee development, engagement, and retention. Day-to-day responsibilities include handling employee inquiries, maintaining HR records, supporting payroll and benefits administration, managing disciplinary procedures, and ensuring compliance with local labor laws and health and safety regulations. The role collaborates closely with operations and management to create a positive, inclusive workplace and support high service standards. Qualifications Demonstrated experience in Human Resources management, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and employee relations within hospitality, F&B, or a comparable service industry. Strong knowledge of HR policies, labor law compliance, and best practices related to workplace health, safety, and employee welfare in Egypt. Proficiency in HR administration, including HRIS systems, record keeping, basic payroll coordination, and benefits support.
