Job Purpose The LEAD Engineer will participate in a structured development journey that combines practical site experience, cross-functional business exposure, technical learning, and leadership development. Participants will work alongside experienced professionals on landmark projects while gaining a comprehensive understanding of Orascom Construction's operations and business. The program is designed to prepare engineers for future technical and leadership roles through real project experience and continuous development. Key Responsibilities Participate in structured rotations across engineering and business functions. Contribute to live construction projects under the guidance of experienced mentors. Support project planning, execution, coordination, and reporting activities. Apply engineering knowledge to solve technical and operational challenges. Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams across different business functions. Participate in learning, coaching, mentoring, and development activities throughout the program. Demonstrate initiative, ownership, and a commitment to continuous learning. Adhere to Orascom Construction's Health, Safety, and Quality standards. Eligibility Criteria Education Bachelor's degree in one of the following disciplines: Civil Engineering Construction Engineering Mechanical Engineering Electrical Engineering Academic Requirements Excellent academic standing (or equivalent). Strong command of English. Graduation Project with a strong academic performance is an advantage. Scholarships, academic honors, or awards are considered a plus. Experience Fresh graduate or up to 2 years of relevant experience. Internship or practical engineering experience is preferred. International exposure or exchange programs are considered a plus. PMP Certificate is considered a plus. Acts as the finance link between India management, KSA finance and Group Finance Responsibilities: Own the monthly close and general ledger of the Group's Indian entity, ensuring the books are complete, accurate and closed on time. Record and bill the entity's cost-plus service revenue to the Group and reconcile the related intercompany balances. Prepare balance sheet reconciliations, accruals and provisions and clear reconciling items each month. Prepare the monthly reporting pack to Group Finance. Prepare the statutory financial statements (March year-end) and support the local auditor through the audit. Coordinate with the local tax advisors in India to ensure tax filings are prepared and submitted on time. Act as the finance link between India management, the KSA finance team and Group Finance. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field. 2–4 years of relevant experience in general ledger accounting or financial reporting. Good knowledge of IFRS; exposure to Indian statutory reporting is a plus. Hands-on experience with month-end close and balance sheet reconciliations. Experience working with external auditors and tax advisors. Very good SAP knowledge is required. Strong attention to detail and organisational skills. Good communication skills in English and the ability to work with remote stakeholders. IFRS diploma is preferred. Experience in the Fintech/Financial Services industry is preferred.
