Role Description The AI Data Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Giza. The role focuses on designing, building, and maintaining data pipelines that support AI and analytics initiatives for the company’s training and business operations. Day-to-day tasks include developing and optimizing ETL processes, integrating data from multiple sources, and implementing data models and warehouses that enable reliable reporting and machine learning workflows. The AI Data Engineer will work closely with data analysts, AI specialists, and business stakeholders to ensure data quality, performance, and security. The role also involves documenting data architectures, monitoring system performance, and contributing to the continuous improvement of data and AI infrastructure. Qualifications 3 years of professional experience in Data Engineering. Proven 1–2+ years of hands-on experience specifically with Generative AI (GenAI) data pipelines, RAG architectures, or LLM data preparation. Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in Python and SQL. Hands-on experience with Relational and Vector Databases (PostgreSQL, pgvector, or alternatives like Pinecone/Milvus). Advanced knowledge of Data Anonymization, Masking techniques, and data security best practices. Familiarity with Cloud Platforms, specifically Google Cloud Platform (GCP) (e.g., Cloud SQL, Cloud Run, Secret Manager). Solid understanding of software engineering principles, version control (Git), and CI/CD pipeline automation. Prior experience working with OpenAI Agents SDK or the Model Context Protocol (MCP).
