Role Description The Application Developer Senior Supervisor is a full-time, on-site role based in Egypt, responsible for leading a team of developers in designing, building, and maintaining business-critical applications that support Xceed’s multi-channel outsourcing operations. Day-to-day activities include overseeing software development lifecycle activities, reviewing and optimizing code, managing integrations between systems, and ensuring database performance and reliability. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders to gather requirements, translate them into technical solutions, and prioritize development tasks aligned with business objectives. The Senior Supervisor will mentor and coach team members, enforce coding standards and best practices, and contribute to technical architecture decisions. The position also requires monitoring production applications, troubleshooting issues, and implementing enhancements that improve scalability, security, and user experience. Qualifications Strong proficiency in Software Development and Programming, with experience leading complex application projects. Hands-on experience working with Databases, including design, optimization, and troubleshooting in production environments. Practical knowledge of Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) and related web technologies for front-end presentation and usability. Experience in system Integration, including APIs, microservices, and connecting disparate enterprise platforms. Demonstrated leadership skills in supervising development teams, providing technical guidance, and managing project delivery. Solid understanding of software engineering best practices, version control, testing methodologies, and secure coding standards. Ability to collaborate effectively with business and technical stakeholders, with strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field; advanced certifications are a plus.
