As the world’s first and largest Money Circles app, we’ve digitized the traditional ROSCA model to make it smarter, safer, and more accessible. 💸 Since 2018, we’ve empowered over 7 million users to take control of their financial futures with confidence. 🚀 Key Responsibilities Own the annual budget, rolling forecasts and long-range plan, including the planning calendar, assumptions, submissions, governance and senior leadership reviews. Build and maintain robust driver-based models linking product activity, customer behaviour, revenue, margins, operating costs, the three financial statements, liquidity and capital needs. Own and continuously improve the core FP&A operating rhythm, including the planning calendar, budget and forecast cycles, assumptions governance, stakeholder submissions, scenario reviews and senior leadership decision forums. Partner with Sales, Marketing, Product, Treasury, Risk, Business Finance and Data Science to test commercial assumptions, understand demand, assess product capabilities and translate business plans into achievable financial outcomes. Ensure capital allocation questions are well-managed within the planning process by modelling product-level trade-offs, liquidity constraints, cash exposure, returns and alternative scenarios. For ROSCA, assess slot mix, expected returns, funding needs and risk considerations with Commercial, Product, Treasury, Risk, Business Finance and Data Science. Define financial objectives, constraints and success metrics for planning tools and analytical models. Challenge model outputs and work with Data Science to improve forecasting accuracy and decision support. Support Board reporting, fundraising plans, investor materials and investment decisions with rigorous analysis, clear financial storytelling and a consistent performance narrative. Build, lead and develop the FP&A function, including planning processes, analytical standards, stakeholder routines and capability development for junior team members. Key Qualifications Strong experience in FP&A, strategic finance, corporate finance or business finance, including ownership of budgeting, forecasting and performance management in a growing, multi-market or expanding business. Proven ability to build and maintain integrated financial models, including P&L, balance sheet, cash flow, product economics, unit economics, liquidity planning and how capital allocation decisions are reflected in financial plans. Working knowledge of Python, SQL or Power BI, with the ability to work directly with data, automate analysis and build scalable planning or decision-support tools. Strong analytical judgement, commercial curiosity and confidence working with operational, financial and product data to identify key drivers and decision points. Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence senior leaders, challenge assumptions constructively and communicate complex financial conclusions clearly. Demonstrated ability to lead planning routines, improve finance processes, manage competing priorities and develop high-quality analysis under tight timelines. Experience working as FP&A in fintech, lending, payments, consumer finance, financial services or another data-rich business (such as e-commerce) model with liquidity, regulatory, credit, risk or capital constraints.
