Role Description The Lead Software Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Qesm El Sheikh Zaid. This role is responsible for leading the design, development, and maintenance of back-end services and software solutions that support Property Hills Star’s platforms. Day-to-day tasks include architecting system components, writing clean and efficient code, reviewing code from other engineers, and ensuring adherence to best practices in software development and security. The Lead Software Engineer will collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers to translate business requirements into technical solutions, troubleshoot complex issues, and optimize system performance. This role also involves mentoring team members, contributing to technical roadmaps, and helping to improve development processes and standards. Qualifications Strong foundation in Computer Science, including data structures, algorithms, and software architecture concepts. Proficiency in Back-End Web Development and Software Development, with experience building scalable, secure, and maintainable APIs and services. Advanced Programming skills in one or more modern languages (e.g., Java, C#, Python, JavaScript/Node.js), with experience in Object-Oriented Programming (OOP). Experience leading engineering projects, conducting code reviews, and mentoring other developers. Familiarity with relational and/or NoSQL databases, version control (e.g., Git), and CI/CD pipelines. Knowledge of cloud platforms and deployment environments (e.g., AWS, Azure, or similar) is highly beneficial. Ability to work collaboratively in an on-site team environment, communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders, and manage multiple priorities.
