R&D innovation senior engineer: Results-driven IoT Project Manager with 3+ years of experience leading end-to-end IoT and digital transformation initiatives across industrial and smart energy sectors. Skilled in deploying IoT architectures using MQTT, Node-RED, PLC integration, RFID, and cloud-based platforms. Proven ability to bridge hardware, connectivity, and software layers to deliver real-time monitoring, predictive analytics, and automation solutions on time and within budget. Holds CAPM and PSM certifications with a strong foundation in Agile methodologies. Key Responsibilities: Develop automation solutions for machines, production lines, material handling systems, conveyors, robotic cells and R&D prototypes. Convert improvement and innovation ideas into proof-of-concept systems, prototypes and industrial demonstrators. Integrate PLCs, HMIs, sensors, actuators, drives, industrial controllers, RFID/QR systems and robotic equipment. Design and implement IoT architectures for machine-to-machine and machine-to-cloud data acquisition and monitoring. Develop real-time monitoring, alarms, dashboards, data logging and condition-monitoring solutions. Work with industrial communication and IoT protocols such as MQTT, Modbus, OPC-UA, HTTP/REST and related interfaces. Use Node-RED or equivalent tools for industrial data flows, edge integration and rapid IoT prototyping. Support integration of embedded controllers and edge devices such as ESP32, Raspberry Pi or equivalent platforms where appropriate. Interface automation systems with ERP/MES/cloud platforms and support digital transformation initiatives. Participate in robotics projects including robot selection, integration, I/O mapping, safety interfaces and cell automation. Develop and maintain technical documentation including system architecture, I/O lists, network diagrams, control logic and commissioning records. Collaborate closely with the Mechanical Design & Digital Twin Engineer to create digitally integrated machine and factory concepts. Support predictive maintenance, energy monitoring, production monitoring and other smart-manufacturing use cases. Coordinate with production, maintenance, electrical, mechanical, IT and R&D teams during implementation and commissioning. Education & Experience Bachelor’s degree in Mechatronics Engineering, Automation & Control, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Industrial Automation, Computer Engineering, or a closely related discipline. Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in industrial automation, IoT, embedded systems, robotics, smart manufacturing or Industry 4.0 projects.
