Job Overview EVEXA is looking for a Mobile Developer — React Native / Expo to join our engineering team. You will be responsible for building and maintaining cross-platform mobile applications for iOS and Android using React Native, Expo, and TypeScript. You will work closely with the design and backend teams to deliver reliable, user-friendly, and high-quality mobile experiences. Responsibilities Develop and maintain cross-platform mobile applications using React Native, Expo, and TypeScript. Translate UI/UX designs into clean, responsive, and user-friendly mobile interfaces. Build reusable components and maintain consistent application architecture. Integrate RESTful APIs and connect mobile applications with backend services. Implement authentication and manage application state effectively. Handle asynchronous operations, API responses, loading states, and errors. Debug issues and improve application performance, responsiveness, and reliability. Write clean, reusable, maintainable, and well-documented code. Follow mobile development best practices and software engineering principles. Use Git and collaborative development workflows. Test mobile features and troubleshoot issues across Android and iOS devices. Prepare and maintain application builds for testing and production releases. Support the submission and publishing process for the Google Play Store and Apple App Store. Collaborate with UI/UX designers, backend engineers, and other team members. Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and feature planning. Meet development milestones and deliver features independently. Requirements 2+ years of professional experience in mobile application development using React Native. Hands-on experience building mobile applications with React Native and Expo. Strong knowledge of JavaScript and TypeScript. Good understanding of mobile application architecture and reusable component design. Experience integrating RESTful APIs and handling JSON data. Understanding of authentication and secure API communication. Experience with state management solutions such as Redux, Zustand, Context API, or similar tools. Good understanding of asynchronous programming and API error handling. Familiarity with mobile application debugging and performance optimization. Experience testing and troubleshooting applications on Android and iOS. Experience with Git and collaborative development workflows. Understanding of mobile application development and release processes. Strong problem-solving and debugging skills. Ability to work independently, manage tasks, and deliver features on time. Good communication and teamwork skills. Nice to Have Experience publishing and maintaining applications on the Google Play Store and Apple App Store. Understanding of Google Play and Apple App Store policies, submission requirements, and review processes. Experience building Arabic interfaces and supporting right-to-left (RTL) layouts. Familiarity with mobile application performance monitoring and crash-reporting tools. Experience with push notifications and deep linking. Familiarity with Firebase or similar mobile development services. Experience with mobile CI/CD pipelines. Familiarity with unit testing and component testing. Experience with Agile development workflows.
