Role Description The Cost Control Engineer role is a full-time, on-site position based in Cairo, Egypt. The person in this role will monitor project budgets, track actual costs against estimates, and prepare regular cost reports to support effective financial decision-making. Daily responsibilities include analyzing cost variances, updating cost control systems, coordinating with project managers and site engineers, and ensuring that procurement and subcontractor costs align with approved budgets. The Cost Control Engineer will assist in forecasting project cash flows, reviewing change orders for cost impact, and contributing to risk assessments and mitigation plans. The role also involves maintaining accurate documentation, supporting audits, and recommending cost-optimization opportunities while maintaining project quality and timelines.
