Key Responsibilities Inbound & Weight Verification: Oversee the unloading and receiving of bulk raw materials. Weigh copper cathode bundles using industrial floor or truck scales, verifying physical data against Bills of Lading (BOL) and refinery certifications. Inventory Control & Auditing: Conduct daily cycle counts and reconciliation protocols. Perform root-cause analysis on any weight or count variances to guarantee zero shrinkage of high-value stock. Precision Kitting: Weigh, calculate, and stage exact tonnages of copper cathodes according to strict production batch recipes. Lot Traceability: Maintain flawless electronic tracking of chemical purity grades, lot numbers, and supplier origins in the WMS/ERP system, enforcing FIFO rotation. Safe Material Handling: Safely operate heavy-duty forklifts or overhead cranes to stack, store, and transport heavy, strapped cathode bundles in designated zones. Experience & Education 5+ years of experience in warehouse inbound logistics, inventory control, and raw material weighing. Proven experience working within a heavy manufacturing, metallurgy, foundry, wire/cable, or automotive/battery production environment. Direct background handling copper cathodes or similar high-value bulk commodities is highly preferred. Technical & Equipment Skills WMS/ERP Literacy: Strong hands-on experience using inventory modules (e.g., SAP, Oracle). Industrial Weighing: Proficient in operating, zeroing, and verifying calibration logs for heavy industrial scales.
