Opportunity Overview Our client is a UK digital marketing agency that builds and maintains websites, linking design and content to broader marketing objectives. This fully remote role owns hands-on website production within a close-knit team, working consistently during UK hours. You will focus on an established CMS stack, primarily Joomla with YooTheme Pro, alongside WordPress. Role Description You will build new pages and sections from designs, briefs, or existing patterns, keeping live client websites accurate and consistent. Your daily work includes content and layout changes, CMS and extension updates, small fixes, and responsive checks across different devices. You will manage a queue of tasks independently, flag decisions clearly, and communicate confidently with colleagues through written Slack conversations. Where page builders reach their limits, small custom code snippets provide a valuable advantage. Key Responsibilities Page Building - Build pages from designs, briefs or patterns using Joomla, WordPress and YooTheme Pro. Website Updates - Edit live website copy, content, imagery and layouts accurately and consistently. Site Maintenance - Maintain client websites through CMS updates, extension management and timely small fixes. Responsive Checks - Check desktop, tablet and mobile experiences, ensuring SEO-ready structure and well-placed CTAs. Task Delivery - Work independently through the internal task queue, flagging issues requiring decisions. Custom Snippets - Use small HTML, CSS or JavaScript snippets where page builders fall short. Minimum Qualifications English Fluency - Fluent, excellent written and spoken English is mandatory for this role. CMS Experience - Hands-on website building and editing experience, ideally using Joomla or WordPress. Page Builders - Comfortable using visual page builders, ideally YooTheme Pro, and learning unfamiliar tools. Independent Delivery - Finish tasks independently, checking spacing, alignment, consistency and spelling before completion. Team Communication - Communicate clearly and confidently in written Slack conversations, remaining responsive to colleagues. UK Availability - Work Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm UK time, attending daily and Monday meetings. Remote Setup - Have reliable internet and a suitable setup for consistent full-time remote work. Bonus Qualifications Front-End Coding - Write HTML, CSS and JavaScript snippets for layout tweaks and small interactions. Website Optimisation - Bring basic SEO, site performance, image editing and asset preparation knowledge.
