Role Description Industry cosmeceutical This full-time, on-site Cost Accountant role is based in Qesm 2nd 6 October. The Cost Accountant will be responsible for analyzing product costs, preparing cost reports, and supporting pricing decisions to ensure profitability and cost efficiency. Day-to-day tasks include preparing and posting journal entries, reconciling accounts, assisting in the preparation and review of financial statements, and monitoring variances between standard and actual costs. The role involves collaborating with production, procurement, and finance teams to track material, labor, and overhead costs, as well as recommending process improvements for cost control. The Cost Accountant will also assist in budgeting, forecasting, and providing data-driven insights to support strategic decision-making. Qualifications Strong knowledge of Cost Accounting and practical experience in product cost analysis Ability to prepare, review, and interpret Financial Statements Proficiency in Journal Entries (Accounting) and general ledger processes Solid Finance and Analytical Skills to support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field Proficiency in spreadsheet software and accounting systems (e.g., Excel, ERP platforms) Attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work with cross-functional teams Prior experience in manufacturing, FMCG, or cosmetics industries is an advantage Show more
