You will be responsible for driving sales, managing daily operations, and creating a fun, engaging shopping experience for children and families. The ideal candidate is a strong leader with a passion for toys, retail expertise, and the ability to inspire a high-performing team. Key Responsibilities: Store Leadership & Operations: - Oversee all aspects of store operations, ensuring efficiency and profitability. - Develop and implement sales strategies to meet or exceed revenue targets. - Manage inventory levels, ordering, and stock control to minimize shrinkage. - Ensure visual merchandising standards are maintained to enhance customer appeal. - Handle opening/closing procedures, cash management, and financial reporting. Sales & Customer Experience: - Resolve escalated customer issues with professionalism and care. - Monitor sales trends and adjust strategies to maximize performance. - Plan and execute in-store promotions, events, and seasonal campaigns. Team Management & Development: - selection, train, and supervise staff, including Assistant Managers and Sales Associates. - Create staff schedules and conduct performance reviews. - Motivate and mentor employees to achieve sales goals and career growth. - Maintain a positive, energetic, and inclusive work environment. Business Administration & Compliance: - Analyze sales reports and KPIs to drive business decisions. - Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and labor laws. Liaise with vendors, suppliers, and corporate offices as needed. Qualifications & Skills: Experience: - 5+ years in retail management, preferably in toys, children’s products and stationery - Proven track record of meeting sales targets. Skills: - Strong leadership, coaching, and conflict-resolution abilities. - Excellent business acumen with proficiency in retail software (POS, inventory systems). - Creative merchandising and promotional planning skills. Traits: - Passion for toys, games, and child development. - Highly organized, adaptable, and able to thrive under pressure. - Flexible schedule (weekends, holidays, and peak seasons required).
