Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Periodontist role based at Giza Clinic in Giza. The Periodontist will diagnose and treat periodontal diseases, perform non-surgical and surgical periodontal therapies, and manage complex cases involving the gums and supporting structures of the teeth. Daily responsibilities include conducting clinical examinations, interpreting radiographs, planning treatment, performing oral surgeries related to periodontics, and placing and maintaining dental implants. The role involves working closely with other dental professionals to coordinate comprehensive treatment plans, educating patients on oral hygiene and preventive care, and maintaining accurate clinical records. The Periodontist is expected to adhere to infection control protocols, participate in case discussions, and contribute to ongoing quality improvement within the clinic. Qualifications Strong foundation in Dentistry and Dental Care, with a focus on periodontal diagnosis and treatment. Clinical expertise in Medicine related to oral health, including systemic considerations affecting periodontal conditions. Proficiency in Oral Surgery procedures relevant to periodontics, such as flap surgeries and regenerative techniques. Demonstrated experience with Dental Implants, including planning, placement, and maintenance in collaboration with restorative clinicians. Recognized dental degree and specialized training or certification in Periodontology from an accredited institution. Active professional license or eligibility to obtain licensure according to local regulatory requirements. Strong diagnostic, clinical decision-making, and problem-solving skills, with careful attention to detail. Effective communication skills for explaining treatment options, risks, and preventive strategies to patients and team members. Commitment to ethical practice, patient confidentiality, and adherence to clinical and infection control standards.
