Job Description: Azure Local HCI & Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) Customer Engineer/ Architect Job Title: Customer Engineer/ Architect– Azure Local HCI & Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) Experience: 10+ Years Location: Remote (Within Egypt) Permanent Role Overview: We are seeking an experienced Azure Local HCI / Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) Customer Engineer to provide deployment, administration, troubleshooting, and escalation support for Microsoft's hybrid infrastructure and virtual desktop solutions. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in Azure Local (formerly Azure Stack HCI), Azure Virtual Desktop, Windows Server, Hyper-V, Networking, Storage, and Hybrid Cloud technologies. Key Responsibilities: Provide advanced technical support for Azure Local (Azure Stack HCI) and Azure Virtual Desktop environments. Troubleshoot complex issues involving: Azure Local HCI clusters Hyper-V virtualization Azure Arc-enabled servers Azure Virtual Desktop FSLogix profile management Hybrid Identity integrations Deploy, configure, and maintain Azure Local HCI clusters. Support Azure Arc onboarding and management. Design and troubleshoot AVD host pools, session hosts, and application delivery. Investigate infrastructure, performance, storage, and networking-related issues. Perform root cause analysis and provide recommendations for service improvement. Collaborate with Azure, Networking, Security, Storage, and Identity teams. Create technical documentation, deployment guides, and operational runbooks. Participate in critical incident management and escalation support.
