Java Backend Developer

We are hiring a Java Backend Developer to join our technology team and contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of scalable, secure, event-driven backend systems. The role will focus on Java-based microservices, Kafka-driven workflows, secure REST APIs, and enterprise system integrations across IAM, API management, BPM, CMS/DMS, and related platforms. Key Responsibilities • Design, develop, and maintain Java-based microservices • Build event-driven workflows using Kafka • Develop and secure REST APIs using Spring Security, JWT, OAuth2, and OIDC • Integrate backend services with IAM solutions such as Ping IAM • Work with API Gateway technologies such as Kong • Collaborate on system architecture, performance, scalability, and reliability • Participate in code reviews and production support • Contribute to technical and architectural decisions Required Qualifications & Skills • Strong hands-on experience with Java • Strong experience with Spring Boot • Solid understanding of Microservices Architecture • Hands-on experience with Apache Kafka and event-driven systems • Experience designing and developing REST APIs • Good knowledge of SQL databases • Experience with Spring Security • Knowledge of JWT authentication • Experience with OAuth2 and OIDC • Proficiency with Git Preferred Qualifications • Experience with Camunda or other BPM engines • Banking or financial services experience • Experience with Ping IAM • Experience with Kong API Gateway • Knowledge of Istio or other Service Mesh technologies • Familiarity with CMS/DMS platforms such as Strapi and Alfresco • Experience integrating with Microsoft Dynamics 365 • Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes Key Skills Java | Spring Boot | Microservices | Apache Kafka | Event-Driven Architecture | REST APIs | SQL | Spring Security | JWT | OAuth2 | OIDC | Git | Docker | Kubernetes | Kong | Ping IAM | Camunda | Istio Show more
