Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Registered Nurse role based at Suze Canal University Hospital in Ismailia. The Registered Nurse will provide direct patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing interventions in accordance with approved clinical protocols. Daily responsibilities include monitoring vital signs, administering medications, assisting with procedures, coordinating multidisciplinary care, and documenting all care accurately in patient records. The nurse will educate patients and families about treatment plans, discharge instructions, and health promotion, while advocating for patient needs and preferences. The role also involves adhering to infection control and safety standards, participating in shift handovers, supporting new staff and students, and contributing to quality improvement activities within the unit. Qualifications Active Registered Nurse license from the relevant regulatory authority and eligibility to practice in Ismailia. Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from an accredited institution; advanced certifications (e.g., critical care, emergency, oncology) are an advantage. Demonstrated clinical skills in patient assessment, medication administration, wound care, and monitoring of vital signs and clinical status. Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective interaction with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams. Ability to work rotating shifts, manage multiple priorities, and remain calm and focused in high-pressure or emergency situations. Knowledge of infection prevention, patient safety protocols, and evidence-based nursing practice; familiarity with electronic medical records is beneficial. Commitment to ethical, non-discriminatory care, continuous professional development, and adherence to hospital policies and regulatory standards. Previous experience in a hospital or acute care setting, particularly in a university or teaching hospital, is preferred but not mandatory. Show more
