Company Description Masjid Al Noor is a community-focused mosque dedicated to providing authentic Quranic education and spiritual guidance to individuals and families. The mosque offers structured programs for Quran recitation, Tajweed, and Islamic studies for all age groups. Role Description This is a full-time, on-site إمام ومعلم تجويد (Imam & Tajweed Instructor) role based at Masjid Al Noor in El Mansoura. The Imam & Tajweed Instructor will lead daily prayers, Jumu’ah prayers as assigned, and deliver sermons and reminders that are clear, well-prepared, and rooted in recognized Islamic scholarship. The role includes teaching Tajweed and Quran recitation to students of varying ages and levels, preparing lesson plans, assessing student progress, and providing constructive feedback. Day-to-day responsibilities also involve holding Quran circles (halaqat), offering spiritual counseling when requested, supporting community programs and events, and collaborating with mosque leadership on educational initiatives. The Imam & Tajweed Instructor is expected to maintain professional conduct, uphold mosque policies, and foster a respectful, welcoming environment for all worshippers and learners. Qualifications Strong proficiency in Quran recitation with excellent Tajweed, including the ability to teach rules clearly and correct students’ recitation. Formal Islamic education or recognized training in Quranic sciences, Tajweed, and Fiqh fundamentals from an accredited institution or reputable scholars. Experience leading prayers and delivering khutbahs, lessons, and lectures in Arabic, with the ability to communicate key concepts in accessible language. Demonstrated teaching experience with children, youth, and adults, including lesson planning, classroom management, and assessing learner progress. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with mosque staff, volunteers, parents, and community members. High standards of personal integrity, ethical conduct, and professionalism, serving as a positive role model in both mosque and community settings. Ability to work full-time on-site in El Mansoura, with flexibility for evenings, weekends, and special religious occasions as required.
