Senior Mechanical Technical Office Engineer Job Purpose: We are looking for a Senior Mechanical Technical Office Engineer to join our Technical Office team, responsible for both Tendering and Technical Office activities, from the initial study and pricing of projects through to technical support and coordination during execution. Job Description: * Study tender documents, drawings, BOQs, specifications, and project requirements. * Prepare mechanical quantity take-offs, BOQs, and cost estimates. * Review and evaluate subcontractors’ and suppliers’ quotations. * Prepare technical and commercial tender submissions. * Prepare and review mechanical shop drawings for HVAC, Plumbing, and Firefighting systems. * Prepare and review mechanical calculations, including External Static Pressure (ESP), hydraulic calculations, pump head calculations, and pipe/duct sizing. * Prepare and review material submittals, equipment schedules, and technical data sheets. * Prepare RFIs, technical queries, and value engineering proposals. * Coordinate mechanical designs with site, architectural, civil, and electrical/MEP teams to resolve technical issues and clashes. * Prepare quantity surveys, variation orders, and as-built drawings. * Provide technical support to the site construction team during project execution. Requirements: * B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering. * 8–10 years of relevant experience in Mechanical Technical Office and construction/contracting projects. * Previous site/construction experience is a strong plus. * Solid knowledge of mechanical systems, including HVAC, Plumbing, and Firefighting. * High proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office. * Revit / Navisworks experience is a plus. * Strong experience in mechanical shop drawings, material submittals, calculations, BOQs, RFIs, and quantity take-offs. * Good understanding of mechanical engineering standards, equipment selection, and construction methods. * Good command of written and spoken English. * Strong communication, coordination, analytical, and problem-solving skills. * Experience in contracting companies is preferred.
