Company Description ERTU (Egyptian Radio and Television Union) is the national public broadcasting organization of Egypt, headquartered in Cairo. Role Description The role is a full-time, on-site position based in Cairo, Egypt, focused on teaching and training in phonetics and voice sciences for media students and anyone interested in voice performance. The lecturer and trainer will design and deliver courses and workshops on vocal performance, presentation skills, voice modulation and coloring, dubbing techniques, and voice acting. Daily responsibilities include preparing instructional materials, conducting practical training sessions in studios or classrooms, providing individual coaching, and assessing participants’ progress. The role involves collaborating with production and training teams to align curricula with industry needs, staying current with trends in performance and audio technologies, and offering mentorship to support learners’ professional development in the field of voice and broadcasting. Qualifications Strong expertise in voice sciences, phonetics, and vocal performance, including presentation skills and on-air delivery. Proven experience in dubbing, voice acting, and expressive voice modulation for media and entertainment contexts. Background in teaching, training, or coaching, with the ability to design curricula, workshops, and practical exercises for diverse learners. Familiarity with audio recording environments, studio etiquette, and basic sound production tools and techniques. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to give constructive feedback and guide learners in a supportive manner. Bachelor’s degree or higher in Media, Performing Arts, Linguistics, Voice Studies, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience. Ability to work on-site in Cairo, manage full-time teaching schedules, and collaborate effectively with ERTU’s training and production teams.
