About the Job
Job Purpose: The HR Business Partner Manager is the strategic people partner to the business across the company's manufacturing and FMCG distribution operations. The role leads an HR team to deliver talent, organizational, and employee relations solutions that support the company's growth, while managing restructuring and cost efficiency and reducing turnover. It works with leaders at every level, from plant supervisors to executives, and turns business priorities into practical people plans. Key Accountabilities: 1. Strategic Business Partnership Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, aligning people strategy with business and operational plans. Lead workforce planning across sites, balancing headcount growth in expanding areas with cost control in others. Provide HR analytics and insights (headcount, labor cost, turnover, absenteeism) to support business decisions. 2. Organizational Change & Restructuring Design and implement organizational structures that improve efficiency and clarify roles. Plan and manage restructuring projects end to end, including impact assessment, communication, and legally compliant execution. Lead change management so that transitions keep disruption to operations and morale as low as possible. 3. Talent Acquisition & Growth Oversee recruitment execution for blue- and white-collar roles, including high-volume hiring for plants, warehouses, and field sales. Build talent pipelines for critical and hard-to-fill roles such as technicians, supervisors, and sales managers. Ensure hiring quality, speed, and cost meet business needs. 4. Retention & Employee Engagement Diagnose turnover drivers by site, function, and workforce category, and lead targeted retention plans. Drive engagement initiatives suited to both frontline and office employees. Strengthen supervisor and manager capability in people leadership, the main lever for frontline retention. 5. Employee & Industrial Relations Handle employee relations cases, including investigations, grievances, and disciplinary actions. Decide on routine cases and escalate major ones to the HR Director. Maintain constructive relations with employee representatives and labor committees. Ensure consistent and fair application of policies across all sites. 6. Learning & Development Oversee training delivery, focusing on frontline supervisors, safety-related skills, and leadership development. Link training plans to performance gaps and succession needs. 7. Team Leadership Lead, coach, and develop a team of 4+ HR professionals. Set team objectives, manage performance, and build HR capability across sites. Qualifications & Experience: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, HR, Law, or a related field. A master's degree or MBA is a plus. 10+ years of HR experience, including at least 4 years in an HRBP or HR management role with people-management responsibility. Proven experience in manufacturing or FMCG distribution with a multi-site workforce. Hands-on experience leading restructuring, high-volume recruitment, and retention programs. Strong knowledge of Egyptian labor and social insurance laws. Professional certification (CIPD, SHRM-SCP, or equivalent) preferred. Fluent in Arabic and English. Working Conditions: Regular travel between head office in 5th Settlement and operational sites. Some exposure to plant and warehouse environments. Show more
