About the Job
Core Responsibilities Shift Operations & Output: Direct daily shift operations to achieve targeted production volumes, product yield, and schedule adherence without compromising quality. Process Optimization: Monitor and adjust critical processing parameters (e.g., cooking temperatures, line speeds, raw material feed rates) to maintain product consistency and minimize raw material waste. Lean & Efficiency: Implement Single-Minute Exchange of Die (SMED) techniques to aggressively reduce changeover times. Lead daily Gemba walks to identify bottlenecks and immediate improvement opportunities. Cross-Functional Coordination: Partner closely with the Maintenance department to plan necessary downtime, coordinate equipment handovers, and resolve chronic line stops. Quality & Compliance: Enforce Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and strict adherence to HACCP and HSE protocols. Conduct daily shift briefings and foster a safety-first culture among operators. Qualifications & Requirements Education: Bachelor’s degree in industrial, Mechanical, or Production Engineering . Experience: 1-3 years of production or process engineering experience in a high-volume FMCG or continuous food manufacturing facility. Technical Skills: Deep understanding of OEE metrics, lean manufacturing methodologies (Six Sigma, Kaizen), and shop-floor data analysis. Soft Skills: Strong leadership and conflict-resolution abilities. Capable of managing shift teams and driving accountability in a fast-paced environment. Show more
