ORIGINAL JOB DESCRIPTION
About the Job
About Admyrix At Admyrix, we're building an organizational intelligence platform that helps companies understand what's happening across their teams, projects, and decisions. Think about how much important knowledge gets lost in Slack conversations, project updates, and people's heads. Or how often teams discover a conflict only after it has already become a problem. We're working to change that. Admyrix connects the dots between people, projects, decisions, and workflows, helping teams spot issues earlier, preserve institutional knowledge, and spend less time on manual project management. We're an early-stage startup, which means there's still a lot to figure out, build, test, and improve. We're looking for people who want to help shape the product, not just work on a predefined list of tasks. The Role We're looking for a Generative AI Engineer to help us turn our vision into working AI features. You'll work on the intelligence behind Admyrix: how it understands organizational context, connects information from different sources, retrieves the right knowledge, identifies potential conflicts, and helps teams make better decisions. This isn't a role where you'll simply plug an LLM into an API and call it a day. We need someone who's curious about what these models can actually do, knows how to test their limits, and enjoys improving systems until they become genuinely useful and reliable. You'll have room to experiment with different approaches, challenge existing ideas, and help decide how we build things. As the product evolves, your work will evolve with it. What You'll Work On Build AI features that solve real problems. Develop LLM-powered capabilities that help Admyrix understand context, connect information, and turn scattered organizational data into useful insights. Experiment, evaluate, and improve. Test different models, prompts, architectures, and techniques. Figure out what works, what doesn't, and how to make the results more accurate and consistent. Develop RAG and knowledge retrieval systems. Help the platform retrieve relevant information across projects, conversations, decisions, and other connected sources. Make AI work in production. Move beyond prototypes by building systems that are reliable, scalable, efficient, and practical to maintain. Build better evaluation methods. Design ways to measure AI output quality, catch failures, reduce hallucinations, and track improvements over time. Think about the bigger system. Contribute to decisions around architecture, data pipelines, APIs, vector databases, and model deployment. Keep security and privacy in mind. Organizational data can be sensitive, so AI features need to respect access permissions, protect information, and behave responsibly. Work closely with the product and engineering team. Turn real workflows and product ideas into technical solutions, share your reasoning, and help us figure out what to build next. What We're Looking For We care about how you think and build, not just how many tools you've used. Solid Python skills and the ability to write clean, maintainable software. Hands-on experience building with LLMs, whether through personal projects, professional work, or products you've shipped. A practical understanding of prompt engineering, RAG, embeddings, and knowledge retrieval. Familiarity with AI/ML frameworks and tools such as PyTorch, Hugging Face, LangChain, or similar technologies. An understanding of how to evaluate AI systems, identify failure cases, and improve their performance. Experience working with APIs, data processing, databases, and integrating AI capabilities into applications. An interest in taking AI projects beyond demos and making them work reliably in real-world environments. Good problem-solving and communication skills. We're a remote team, so being able to explain your thinking, share progress, and collaborate independently matters. You don't need to be an expert in every tool on this list. We value strong fundamentals, practical experience, curiosity, and the ability to learn quickly. You'll Have an Advantage If You Have built AI agents, multi-step workflows, or systems that use tools and external data. Have worked with vector databases, model fine-tuning, evaluation pipelines, or model deployment. Understand how to handle permissions, data isolation, and privacy in AI applications. Have worked with project management tools, knowledge bases, or other organizational software. Enjoy thinking about decision intelligence, organizational behavior, or how teams coordinate their work. Have taken an AI project from an early experiment to something people can actually use. How We Work Admyrix is an early-stage startup, and we're building as we go. That means you'll have real ownership, direct collaboration with the product team, and the opportunity to influence technical decisions. Some problems will be well-defined; others will require research, experimentation, and a few iterations before we find the right approach. We value people who take initiative, question assumptions, share what they learn, and care about improving the product over time. We're not looking for someone who just follows instructions. We're looking for someone who can think through a problem, propose a solution, build it, test it, and make it better. If you enjoy building practical AI systems, exploring new approaches, and helping shape a product from an early stage, we'd love to hear from you. Show more
