Assistant Maintenance Manager

If you're driven by purpose and motivated to make an impact, we'd love to have you on our team Key Responsibilities Manage and coordinate all maintenance and facility management activities across outlets in the assigned area (Masr El Gedida, Nasr City, Maadi). Lead, supervise, and develop a team of maintenance technicians and area supervisors, ensuring clear task allocation and accountability. Ensure timely response and resolution of maintenance breakdowns (electrical, mechanical, HVAC, refrigeration, plumbing, civil) to minimize store downtime. Implement and monitor preventive maintenance programs across all covered outlets. Conduct regular site visits and inspections to assess equipment condition, safety compliance, and maintenance quality. Coordinate with contractors and vendors for repairs, servicing, and CAPEX/OPEX-related works; monitor quality and cost of work delivered. Support budgeting and cost control for maintenance activities within the assigned area. Maintain accurate maintenance records, reports, and documentation for audits and management review. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and food-safety-related facility standards across all outlets. Escalate critical issues and provide regular status updates to the Engineering & Maintenance Manager. Required Qualifications & Experience Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in maintenance / facility management, engineering operations, or MEP roles. Prior experience in Retail, Hotels, or Restaurant/QSR maintenance and facility management is required. Proven experience directly managing a team of technicians and supervisors. Strong hands-on, ground-level experience — comfortable working across multiple sites and responding to on-site issues directly. Solid working knowledge of electrical, mechanical, HVAC/refrigeration, and civil maintenance systems. Bachelor's degree or diploma in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or a related technical field is preferred. Willingness and ability to travel regularly between outlets in Masr El Gedida, Nasr City, and Maadi. Show more
