About the Job

Job Purpose The Development Engineer will play a pivotal role in planning, designing, coordinating, and executing development projects. This position supports the entire project lifecycle—from feasibility and design through permitting, construction, and handover—ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. Key Responsibilities Assist in site feasibility studies including due diligence, technical assessments, and cost estimations. Coordinate with architects, consultants, and contractors to finalize design and engineering plans. Review and validate architectural, civil, structural, MEP, and infrastructure drawings. Work with municipal authorities and consultants to secure necessary permits and clearances. Support the preparation of budgets, timelines, and cost control measures. Monitor on-site progress, resolve technical issues, and ensure compliance with design specifications. Liaise with internal departments (sales, marketing, finance, legal) during the project lifecycle. Prepare technical reports, project updates, and documentation. Ensure adherence to safety, quality, and environmental standards throughout project execution. Key Accountabilities Ensure accurate data collection and analysis to support go/no-go decisions for prospective sites. Drive alignment and timely closure of design deliverables to meet project schedules and quality standards. Ensure design integrity, regulatory compliance, and coordination across all disciplines before execution. Achieve timely approvals and compliance with statutory requirements to avoid delays in project initiation. Job Specification (Qualifications) Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, construction management, or related field (Master’s preferred). 3–4 years of relevant experience in real estate development, construction, or infrastructure projects. Strong knowledge of project development cycles, construction methods, and building codes. Familiar with AutoCAD, MS Project, and engineering software tools. Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional environment.
