Accountant

BookMyPet is looking for a hands-on Accountant to take ownership of the day-to-day financial operations across our marketplace and SaaS (BookMyPet PRO) businesses. This is not just a data-entry role. We’re looking for someone who is organized, detail-oriented, comfortable communicating with suppliers, and able to keep our numbers accurate and management informed. Key Responsibilities Manage marketplace & SaaS accounting and reconciliations Prepare supplier statements and process supplier payouts Manage vendor invoices and payments Maintain accurate daily QuickBooks entries Reconcile bank accounts, payment gateways, supplier balances, receivables and payables Communicate with suppliers regarding statements, payments and discrepancies Prepare weekly financial reports for management Support monthly P&L, balance sheet, cash flow and financial statement preparation Follow up on outstanding payments, invoices and reconciliation issues What We’re Looking For Strong hands-on QuickBooks experience — mandatory Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field Solid accounting, reconciliation and bookkeeping knowledge Strong Excel / Google Sheets skills Excellent spoken and written English — mandatory Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines Experience in SaaS, marketplaces, e-commerce or technology companies is a strong advantage We want someone who can own the numbers, spot discrepancies and keep our financial records continuously up to date, not simply enter transactions.
