Senior Accountant

Role Overview As a Senior Accountant, you will play a critical role in maintaining financial integrity, supporting business decision-making, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. As part of our team in Egypt - Cairo, you'll work in an ONSITE environment where your expertise drives financial excellence and continuous improvement. Responsibilities Manage the month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting. Prepare financial statements in compliance with local and international accounting standards. Perform account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies swiftly. Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis. Lead internal and external audit preparations and collaborate with auditors. Support tax preparation and ensure compliance with tax regulations. Monitor and improve accounting procedures and internal controls. Mentor and guide junior accounting staff. Must have requirements Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance. Strong understanding of Egyptian tax laws and regulations. Excellent knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel, and accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar). Meticulous attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy. Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Proficient verbal and written communication abilities in English. Nice to have requirements Professional certification such as CPA, CMA, or equivalent. Experience working for multinational companies or in the audit field. Advanced knowledge of IFRS or other international accounting frameworks. Expertise in automation or digital transformation for finance processes.
