Mechanical Engineer

Key Responsibilities (Desire to work in the field of water treatment and desalination plants.) Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance for mechanical equipment at water and wastewater treatment plants. Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair pumps, motors, gearboxes, valves, blowers, compressors, dosing systems, mixers, conveyors, screens, clarifiers, filters, and other rotating and static equipment. Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules to improve equipment reliability. Diagnose mechanical failures using engineering principles and maintenance best practices. Coordinate maintenance shutdowns and equipment overhauls while minimizing operational interruptions. Monitor equipment performance and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce maintenance costs. Prepare maintenance reports, work orders, failure analysis reports, and technical documentation. Coordinate with Operations, Electrical, Instrumentation, and Process teams to ensure continuous plant operation. Supervise contractors and external service providers during maintenance activities. Ensure compliance with HSE policies, company procedures, and applicable industry standards. Maintain spare parts inventory and recommend procurement of critical mechanical components. Participate in equipment commissioning, startup, testing, and acceptance of new installations. Support root cause analysis (RCA) and implement corrective and preventive actions. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives aimed at increasing plant reliability and operational efficiency. Knowledge Skills And Ability Engineering bachelor's degree (Mechanical Power). Fresh Graduate or 2 years of experience as Max. Overall Graduation Grade is Very good. Good English command. knowledge of water and wastewater treatment processes, including physical, chemical, and biological treatment methods.
