Key Responsibilities As a Graduate Internship Trainee in the VITE R&I Team, you will be actively involved in: Design and prototype machine learning models tailored for automotive features. Adapt and fine-tune pre-trained large language models (LLMs like GPT, LLaMA) for specific automotive domains. Develop end-to-end pipelines that combine Automatic Speech Recognition (ASR), LLM inference, and Text-to-Speech (TTS). Benchmark various model architectures and optimize parameters for performance. Collaborate on implementing models into proof-of-concept/research projects and integrating prototypes into applications. Write, test, and optimize high-performance C++ code for Linux-based systems. Contribute to the development of system-level or performance-critical C++ applications. Build, configure, and manage projects using CMake or Makefiles, including the integration of third-party libraries. Profile, troubleshoot, and optimize applications, focusing on efficient memory usage. Thoroughly test deployed features to ensure both quality and reliable performance. Document all experiments, findings, and the development process comprehensively. Work with middleware teams to define, implement, and integrate services over the automotive Ethernet stack. Qualifications Required Skills & Qualifications Academic Status: Must be a 2024- 2025 Graduate. Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Mechatronics, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or a closely related field. Language Proficiency: Excellent command of both English and Arabic (written and verbal communication is essential). French is a strong plus. Solid understanding of supervised and unsupervised machine learning algorithms. Strong proficiency in Python, coupled with experience in at least one major ML framework (TensorFlow or PyTorch). Experience with ASR toolkits (e.g., OpenAI Whisper, Vosk, Kaldi) and TTS frameworks. Basic knowledge of model evaluation metrics and training optimization techniques. Ability to understand and apply concepts from recent academic papers or tutorials. Proficiency with Linux command-line environments (bash, ssh, editors). Experience with C++ fundamentals: understanding of pointers, memory management, and multithreading concepts. Familiarity with version control (Git) and build systems (CMake, Make). Understanding or coursework in automotive communication protocols like SOME/IP, MQTT, and protobuf. Strong analytical mindset and the ability to translate abstract user requirements into clear technical specifications. Comfortable working in an agile, office-based prototyping environment, capable of rapid feature iteration. Job objective The Center Physician (CP) works under the supervision of Center Manager and the Plasma Operations and Medical Director. The CP plays a critical role in the donation process where he\she has supervision on the whole process and relevant staff to ensure donors safety and plasma quality. The CP ensures that the centers medical staff follows the applicable policies, procedures & regulations. Rotational Shifts (not fixed), 5 working days and 2 days off , 8 working hours Key responsibility Ensure the proper selection of suitable plasmapheresis donors according to the effective policies and procedures as well as the as the clinical experience. Observe and confirm compliance of the Center's medical procedures as they affect the safety of the donors and the collected plasma. Responsible for the certification, training and performance of the center medical staff as it pertains to the donor assessment and to compliance with the company's policies and procedures. Provide additional necessary training, re-certification and corrective actions for the center's medical staff, in collaboration with the training department. Perform the required physical examination for donors. Review donors related documents carefully. Carefully explain the Informed Consent and witness the donor's signature on the form. In a private and confidential setting, discuss the high-risk behavior educational material and definitions of high-risk behavior categories in order to provide the donor with the ability to self-exclude from donating. Participate in the notification and counselling of donors found to be positive for various infectious disease markers such as HBV, HIV, HCV, syphilis, and other required tests. Management of Donor Adverse Event Reactions and the appropriate level of care. Timely review of accumulated data to confirm established donor suitability, donor safety and product safety. Review the accumulated laboratory data of SPE, syphilis and Total Protein results in a timely basis, as well as the collection records, to determine whether the donor should be deferred for further donation. Approve a donor whose SPE results were abnormal for plasmapheresis when normal results are obtained. Recommend changes and improvements to Standard Operating Procedures. Provide education sessions to the center medical staff according to the company's Standard Operating Procedures (SOP). Learn, understand and be independent working with the PDS (Plasma Donor System). Follows all cGMP and good documentation practice guidelines. Review the QA reports for timely and appropriate actions on moderate complexity procedures for test problems. Academic Experience Required Essential: Bachelors Degree in Medicine. Preferred: Post graduate studies in Medicine, preferrable. Professional Experience Required Clinical experience.
