Job objective The plasma processor processes both units and samples for initial freezing; packs plasma for final shipment; packs samples for shipment to testing lab; assists in shipping both samples and units; and maintains area equipment and supplies. Environment Internal: Donor Center Management and Medical staff. External: donors, patient groups, auditors, and community and neighborhood organizations. Key Responsibility Collects and processes donor samples for processing and testing. Labels samples and freezes units for final packing within the required timeframe. Participates in unit management according to SOP. Packs units for final shipment; packs samples and prepares shipping box to send samples to the testing lab. Monitors stored products to ensure time requirements are met. Monitors and reports working conditions of equipment.
