Job Purpose: We are seeking a Presales Consultant – Testing & Quality Engineering to lead the design, estimation, and positioning of quality assurance and testing services. The role focuses on helping customers improve software quality, accelerate release cycles, increase automation, and optimize testing operations through innovative testing and quality engineering solutions. Key Accountabilities: Design end-to-end testing strategies covering functional, regression, integration, UAT, performance, security, accessibility, and data migration testing. Develop Testing Center of Excellence (TCoE) models, governance frameworks, operating models, and service delivery approaches. Design managed testing services, including service scope, SLAs, quality metrics, and transition plans. Define test automation architectures and recommend suitable automation frameworks and tools. Build automation business cases and ROI models, including coverage targets and productivity improvements. Design performance engineering, load testing, scalability testing, and non-functional testing solutions. Produce effort estimations, resource plans, commercial models, and testing service proposals. Lead RFP/RFI responses and create technical proposal content, methodologies, governance structures, and solution designs. Conduct quality maturity assessments, discovery workshops, PoCs, and solution demonstrations. Present testing and quality engineering solutions to technical and executive stakeholders. Define quality metrics, reporting frameworks, and continuous improvement initiatives. Collaborate with testing tool vendors and technology partners to validate solutions and pricing. Build and maintain reusable testing assets, accelerators, estimation models, and proposal templates. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field. Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, quality assurance frameworks, and testing lifecycle management. Professional certifications in software testing or quality engineering. Minimum Experience: 8+ years of experience in Software Testing, Quality Assurance, or Quality Engineering. Hands-on experience in Presales, Solution Consulting, Test Consulting, or Solution Architecture roles. Proven experience in enterprise testing programs, test automation initiatives, and quality transformation projects.
