ORIGINAL JOB DESCRIPTION

About the Job

Company Description Mahsoulak is the manufacturing arm of P-Vita Green Technologies. At our facility in Kom Oshim Industrial Zone, El Faiyum, we produce a complete crop nutrition portfolio: algae-based and organic inputs, root stimulators and soil conditioners, alongside other fertilizers. P-Vita turns agricultural waste and algae into biofertilizers and feed supplements. Mahsoulak is where that science becomes product, at scale, for the Egyptian farmer. We are expanding our production capacity, and we are building our finance function from the ground up. That is why this role exists. Role Description This is a standalone role. You will own Mahsoulak's accounting end to end. There is no finance department above you, and you will not be one pair of hands inside someone else's ledger. You will run the books, the tax file, the social insurance file and the ETA portal yourself, and you will build the systems the department grows into. Transaction volume is moderate. That is deliberate. The job is wide rather than deep: you will touch every part of the cycle in a month instead of one part of it for a year. What you will own: - Full accounting cycle: journal entries, accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliation, inventory and cost of production, monthly and annual closing - Tax: VAT returns, withholding tax, the corporate tax file, and correspondence with the Egyptian Tax Authority - The ETA electronic invoicing portal: issuing, validating and reconciling e-invoices - The social insurance file and payroll for factory staff - Supplier payments, petty cash, and the goods-receipt-to-payment chain with the production team - Building the finance module of our ERP alongside our developer and operations team - Monthly reporting direct to the CEO Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Commerce - 3 to 5 years in accounting, including at least one year filing independently rather than preparing returns for a chief accountant to sign - Hands-on experience with the ETA electronic invoicing portal - Working knowledge of Egyptian VAT, withholding tax and social insurance procedures in practice, not in theory - Strong Excel - ERP experience (Odoo, SAP, Oracle or similar) is preferred - Experience in manufacturing, FMCG or agriculture is preferred - Able to work full-time on site in Kom Oshim, El Faiyum. Residency and logistics support are provided for candidates relocating. What We Offer - Competitive Salary and Package - Group medical insurance with Allianz, and social insurance - A finance function you build rather than inherit, with a defined review for the Finance Manager as the company grows - Direct reporting to the board and real influence on how the plant runs How to Apply Send your CV to hr@p-vita.com with the subject line: Senior Accountant - Factory In the body of the email, answer these five questions in one line each. Applications without them will not be reviewed. 1. How many years of accounting experience do you have? 2. Have you personally submitted VAT returns to the Egyptian Tax Authority, or prepared them for someone else to submit? 3. Have you worked on the ETA electronic invoicing portal? Yes or no. 4. What is your expected monthly net salary? 5. What is your notice period? Show more
