The role involves coordinating international shipments, managing documentation, and ensuring compliance with global trade and transport regulations. Responsibilities include communicating with customers, carriers, and internal teams to plan and monitor shipments, resolve operational issues, and maintain accurate records in logistics systems. The Overseas team member will track cargo movements, update stakeholders on shipment status, and support process improvements that enhance efficiency, transparency, and service quality. The role also requires close collaboration with other Navix offices and partners to support seamless end-to-end supply chain execution. job Description Negotiate rates, transportation and handling costs with shipping lines & overseas company agents Obtain rates & quote offers for shipping services required by customers Obtain, check and prepare documentation to meet customers requirements Co-ordinate the shipments with overseas agents Ability to handle a shipment from booking to delivery Track & trace shipments & update customers on regular basis Complete invoicing and billing processes; assist in the investigation of billing issues and develops solutions for problems to ensure accurate invoices are provided to the customer in a timely manner Consistently meets the customer’s needs around shipment bookings, collections, delivery, and shipment updates Job Requirements Fluent in the English language Previous experience in a freight forwarding company Demonstrated outstanding customer service skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to quickly develop rapport with customers Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Exceptional organizational and time management skills with a high attention to detail.
