The role owns end-to-end analysis of value chain processes (Source-to-Pay and adjacent MM/PP/QM/PM flows), designs and supports system integrations across SAP and third-party platforms and performs hands-on ABAP development to resolve gaps that pure functional or pure technical resources cannot close alone. Admin related tasks also require performing in parallel.
Key Responsibilities:
Value Chain & Process Analysis
Analyse end-to-end value chain processes across procurement, manufacturing, quality, and maintenance to identify inefficiencies and integration gaps.
Translate business requirements into functional and technical specifications for SAP and connected platforms.
Support Business Blueprint and gap analysis activities against SAP Activate methodology deliverables.
Partner with process owners to validate that technical solutions actually close the identified business gap.

Design, build, and support integrations between SAP and external platforms (e.g. AI/CLM/sourcing tools) via SAP CPI.
Own iFlow design, mapping, and testing for assigned interfaces, including error handling and monitoring.
Troubleshoot interface failures end-to-end, from message payload down to backend data issues.
Maintain the integration touchpoint register and support integration strategy and sequencing decisions.
SAP ABAP Technical Development
Develop and maintain custom ABAP programs, enhancements (BAdIs, user exits), and reports supporting MM, PP, QM, and PM.
Perform technical debugging of standard and custom SAP objects to support functional issue resolution.
Build and maintain interface-related ABAP objects (IDocs, proxies, RFC/BAPI wrappers) that support CPI integrations.
Conduct code reviews and ensure technical changes follow SAP development and transport governance standards.
Governance & Collaboration
Work closely with implementation partners and AMS partners to validate scope and effort on change requests.
Document technical and functional decisions to reduce dependency on external parties for routine changes.
Support structured onboarding: ice-breaking, documentation, and knowledge transfer ahead of new implementation phases.
Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
5+ years of SAP experience spanning at least one functional module (MM, PP, QM, or PM) and ABAP development.
Demonstrated experience with SAP CPI or equivalent integration middleware (Process Orchestration, PI/PO).
Working knowledge of SAP Activate methodology and Business Blueprint / Business Process documentation.
SAP certification(s) in a functional or technical track preferred (e.g. S/4HANA module certification, ABAP certification).
Experience working alongside System Integrators and AMS partners in a governance or oversight capacity is an advantage.
