About the Job

About Us Digital Reality Corp (DRC) is a technology-first digital building measurement and spatial intelligence business, combining specialist surveying expertise with proprietary software, advanced 3D capture technology, computer vision, and machine learning. At the foundation of our business is the accurate capture and measurement of the built environment. Through Stak, our teams digitally survey buildings at scale and transform real-world spaces into trusted, verified digital information. Our core services include 3D laser scanning and point-cloud capture, verified building and area measurement reports, floor plans, scan-to-CAD, scan-to-BIM/Revit, 360° imagery and digital building records. These outputs support property owners, operators and professionals across real estate, construction, facilities management and asset management. What differentiates DRC is the technology and intelligence we build around this core surveying capability. Our proprietary platforms, automated processing workflows, computer vision and machine-learning technology enable us to capture, process and structure building information consistently at scale, improving speed, quality and the value that can be extracted from spatial data. Through Spatial-IQ, we extend this capability beyond individual building deliverables, helping large property owners and operators create, manage and utilise structured spatial data across entire portfolios. Spatial-IQ brings together verified building information, spatial context and portfolio-level intelligence, enabling organisations to better understand, analyse and manage their physical estates. We have digitised more than 180,000 buildings and over 390 million sq ft of real estate. Our global network of certified Digital Surveyors, supported by proprietary AI-driven workflows and centralised production capabilities, enables us to deliver consistent, scalable and insurance-backed outcomes across multiple markets. At DRC, our core surveying expertise provides the trusted data foundation, while our technology, automation and spatial intelligence capabilities turn that information into connected, actionable insight for the built world. About the Role The Quality Control Technician is responsible for ensuring that Stak Verified and Spatial IQ deliverables produced within the Global Delivery Centre meet the required standards of accuracy, completeness and quality before final delivery. Working closely with Digital Producers and the GDC Production & Operations Manager, the QC Technician will act as an independent final quality gate, reviewing deliverables against source data, project requirements and established production and measurement standards. The role is not only responsible for identifying errors, but for understanding why errors are occurring, identifying recurring trends and supporting improvements in production quality across the wider team. Responsibilities Quality Control & Final Review: Complete detailed QC reviews of Stak Verified and Spatial IQ deliverables prior to final release. Validate outputs against registered point cloud data, imagery and supporting project information. Check the accuracy and completeness of floor plans, spatial information, measurements and associated deliverables. Ensure deliverables comply with DRC production standards, project scope and client-specific requirements. Identify errors, inconsistencies, omissions or areas requiring further investigation. Ensure all required deliverables are present and complete before approving a project through QC. Maintain independence between production and final QC to provide a robust final quality gate. Measurement & Spatial Accuracy: Review building measurements and spatial interpretation against available source data. Ensure appropriate measurement standards and methodologies have been correctly applied. Identify areas where building geometry, boundaries, areas or spatial information require further investigation. Develop a strong understanding of DRC measurement standards and their application across different property types. Escalate complex measurement queries where further technical guidance is required. QC Feedback & Resolution: Provide Digital Producers with clear, specific, and actionable QC comments. Ensure QC feedback identifies both the issue and the required correction wherever possible. Review corrected deliverables and confirm that identified issues have been appropriately resolved. Work collaboratively with Digital Producers while maintaining clear accountability for quality standards. Escalate repeated or significant quality issues to the GDC Production & Operations Manager. Support the team in understanding quality expectations rather than simply correcting individual errors. Quality Performance & Reporting: Record QC findings consistently to provide visibility of quality performance across the GDC. Monitor QC comments, error rates and recurring quality issues. Identify trends across individuals, projects and the wider production team. Support the development and monitoring of quality KPIs. Highlight areas where additional training, process improvements or technical guidance are required. Provide regular quality feedback and insights to the GDC Production & Operations Manager. Support the identification of systemic issues across capture, registration or production where these are affecting final deliverable quality. Training & Continuous Improvement: Feed recurring QC findings into Digital Producer training and development. Participate in production and measurement training sessions. Work with the GDC Production & Operations Manager to develop and improve QC processes, checklists and guardrails. Support the creation and maintenance of documented quality standards. Share examples and learnings with the production team to prevent recurring errors. Contribute to continuous improvement of Stak Verified and Spatial IQ workflows. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of production standards, tools and processes as they evolve. Collaboration: Work closely with Digital Producers and the GDC Production & Operations Manager to maintain consistently high-quality delivery. Collaborate with Digital Survey, Registration, Project Management and wider Operations teams where source data or project requirements require clarification. Proactively raise concerns where the quality of incoming data may compromise production accuracy. Participate in project reviews and lessons-learned sessions. Promote a culture where quality is owned throughout the production lifecycle, rather than relying solely on final QC. Knowledge, Skills & Experience Essential: Experience producing or quality checking architectural floor plans, CAD drawings or similar technical property deliverables. Strong spatial awareness and ability to interpret building layouts and architectural information. Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify inconsistencies within technical outputs. Experience working with CAD, architectural drawing or spatial production software. Strong understanding of quality control principles within a technical production environment. Ability to interpret source information and validate outputs against it. Strong organisational and time-management skills. Ability to provide clear, constructive and actionable feedback. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Comfortable working to defined quality and productivity KPIs. Advantageous: Experience working with point cloud or 3D spatial data. Experience within measured survey, architecture, property, construction or Scan-to-CAD environments. Knowledge of property measurement standards and terminology. Understanding of RICS measurement principles. Experience with Stak Verified, Spatial IQ or similar spatial/property data products. Experience using Adobe Illustrator or other architectural production tools. Previous experience in a dedicated technical QC or QA position. NB: The successful candidate will be required to pass our security screening procedures and those of our clients where applicable. Show more
