Role Description The Director of Engineering is a full-time, on-site role based at The V Hotel Sharm El Sheikh, responsible for overseeing all engineering, maintenance, and technical operations across the property. This role leads the engineering team, plans and executes preventive and corrective maintenance, and ensures all building systems—including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and life safety—operate efficiently and reliably. The Director of Engineering collaborates with hotel leadership to support guest satisfaction through safe, well-maintained facilities, manages engineering budgets and vendor relationships, and coordinates projects, renovations, and system integrations. Lubemaster, an authorized Chevron distributor in Egypt, is looking for a Mechanical Engineer to join its Technical Services section.
You will visit industrial sites, review how equipment is lubricated, and report your findings to our Sales and Technical teams.
Key Responsibilities
Visit customer sites across different industrial sectors on a planned schedule, and inspect equipment condition.
Assess lubrication practices, including oil sampling, analysis of results, and review of lubrication schedules.
Recommend corrective actions to customers based on your findings.
Troubleshoot lubrication-related equipment problems on site.
Run product trials at customer sites and report the results.
Prepare technical visit reports and follow up on each case over time.
Coordinate with Sales teams to address customer needs.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
Fresh graduate to 2 years of experience.
Industrial exposure through practical training, site visits, or relevant university projects.
Good command of English (required for writing technical reports).
