Senior Backend Engineer (Java) Job Description We are looking for a Senior Backend Engineer (Java) with strong experience in building scalable, high-performance backend services and REST APIs using Java and Spring Boot. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience developing microservices, event-driven systems, and distributed applications that operate reliably under heavy load. The role involves designing and developing backend services, working with relational databases and caching technologies, implementing event-driven architectures, and optimizing application performance. You will also contribute to CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, code reviews, and software design practices. Key Responsibilities Requirements Engineering & Analysis: Collaborate with system architects and hardware teams to elicit, analyze, and document software requirements for power control, diagnostics, and communication features. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. 1+ years of experience in an embedded software development, integration, or systems engineering role. Solid programming skills in C. Strong understanding of the full software development lifecycle (e.g., V-Model, Agile/Scrum). Experience with version control systems, particularly Git. Proficiency in at least one scripting language (e.g., Python). Hands-on experience with build systems (e.g., Make/CMake) and compilers/linkers for embedded systems.
