• Conduct discovery conversations to understand customer pain points
• Deliver product pitches and live demos (with coaching from the founding team)

• Follow up persistently with prospects through multi-touch sequences
• Qualify leads and move them through the sales pipeline
• Update the CRM / pipeline tracker with accurate activity and deal data
• Help prepare proposals, quotes, and sales collateral
• Track personal sales metrics (calls, replies, meetings, conversions) weekly
• Shadow founder-led sales calls and debrief afterward
• Test and iterate on pitch angles, scripts, and value propositions
• Collect prospect feedback and relay product insights to the team
• Support upsell and expansion conversations with early users
• Help draft case studies and win stories from closed deals
• Document winning plays in a simple sales playbook
Requirements
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
• Confident, personable, and comfortable talking to strangers
• Resilient — handles rejection well and keeps going
• Highly organized; able to juggle many conversations and follow-ups
• Self-motivated and able to work independently in a remote setting
• Genuinely excited about sales and persuasion as a craft
• Quick learner — absorbs product knowledge and feedback fast
• Analytical mindset — comfortable tracking numbers and spotting patterns
• Available 10–15 hours per week for 6 weeks
• Bonus: any experience in sales, retail, fundraising, debate, or customer-facing roles
What You'll Gain
• Real, hands-on experience selling for an early-stage startup
• Direct mentorship and call coaching from the founding team
• A first-hand look at how startups close their first customers
• Practical prospecting and pipeline-management skills
• Pitching and objection-handling skills that transfer anywhere
• CRM and sales-tool proficiency
• Discovery and needs-analysis conversation skills
• Experience running demos and closing conversations
• A track record of real outreach numbers and meetings booked
• Certificate of completion at the end of the internship
• Letter of recommendation for strong performers
• LinkedIn recommendation for strong performers
• Networking with startup founders and operators
• Potential path to a paid role or extended engagement
• A flexible remote schedule that fits around your studies

Participants work on realistic business challenges, receive AI-powered feedback, use modern professional tools, and build portfolio-ready projects that demonstrate their abilities to future employers.
We’re looking for curious, technically minded, and ambitious students to join our AI Engineering Internship and gain hands-on experience building practical AI applications — from prompt engineering and LLM integrations to RAG pipelines and AI agents.
About the Internship
As an AI Engineering Intern, you’ll work on realistic engineering challenges involving prompt design, LLM-powered features, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), embeddings, and AI agent workflows.
You’ll learn how AI engineers take business problems and turn them into working AI products — integrating models into applications, evaluating outputs, and iterating on real use cases.
Responsibilities

* Build prototype features powered by large language models.
* Integrate LLM APIs into simple web applications.
* Build and experiment with retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) pipelines.
* Work with embeddings, vector databases, and semantic search.
* Create AI agents that can reason, use tools, and complete multi-step tasks.
* Evaluate AI outputs for accuracy, safety, and usefulness.
* Debug and iterate on AI-powered features based on feedback.
* Build conversational AI experiences such as chatbots and assistants.
* Fine-tune simple models or use few-shot learning for specific tasks.
* Process and prepare data for AI workflows (chunking, cleaning, formatting).
* Connect AI features to databases and external APIs.
* Write clean, readable code for AI experiments and prototypes.
* Document AI experiments, prompts, and evaluation results.
* Use modern developer tools (Git, notebooks, cloud platforms).
* Learn the fundamentals of ML and deep learning concepts.
* Collaborate with other interns on cross-functional AI projects.
* Turn ambiguous product ideas into structured AI prototypes.
Requirements
Current student or recent graduate in Computer Science, AI, Data Science, Software Engineering, or a related field — or a strong self-taught coding portfolio.
* Strong interest in artificial intelligence, LLMs, and machine learning.
* Basic programming skills (Python is a plus; willingness to learn fast is essential).
* Curiosity about how AI systems work under the hood.
* Analytical and logical thinking with close attention to detail.
* Self-motivated and able to work independently on technical challenges.
* Comfortable experimenting, failing fast, and iterating.
* Familiarity with AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, or similar platforms is a plus.
* Previous professional AI engineering experience is not required.
What You’ll Gain
Hands-on experience building real AI applications, not just theory.
* Practical experience with prompt engineering and LLM integrations.
* Experience building RAG pipelines and semantic search.
* Experience working with AI agents and multi-step AI workflows.
* Understanding of how AI features are evaluated and improved.
* Practical exposure to Python, APIs, and developer workflows.
* Portfolio-ready AI projects built on realistic use cases.
* Personalized AI feedback on your work.
* Professional certificate upon successful completion.
* Mentorship and weekly learning sessions.
