🏗️ We’re Hiring | Quality Control Supervisor – Steel Fabrication Infinity Steel is looking for an experienced Quality Control Supervisor to establish, organize, and lead the QC function across our steel fabrication operations. 📍 Location: Alexandria Free Zone, Egypt 🔹 Key Responsibilities Build and supervise the QC team, including assigning responsibilities, inspection coverage, and daily activities. Lead QC activities across steel fabrication, fit-up, welding, dimensional inspection, finishing, and final inspection. Ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, WPS, ITPs, applicable codes, and project quality requirements. Coordinate and monitor NDT activities (MT, PT, UT) and review inspection/testing results. Manage QC documentation, material & weld traceability, inspection records, and reports. Identify and control non-conformities (NCRs) and follow up on root-cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions. Work closely with Production, Engineering, and Project teams to prevent quality issues and reduce rework and rejection. Develop and improve inspection procedures, checklists, and quality control systems while promoting a “Quality at Source” culture. 🔹 Requirements Bachelor's Degree in Engineering — Mechanical, Production, Metallurgical, or related fields preferred. 5–8 years of relevant experience in Quality Control, with strong experience in Steel Fabrication / Structural Steel / Welding. Proven experience in leading or supervising QC teams. Strong knowledge of WPS, welding processes, fit-up, dimensional inspection, and steel fabrication quality requirements. Good knowledge of NDT methods (MT, PT, UT) and inspection procedures. Ability to read and interpret engineering and fabrication drawings. Experience with NCRs, corrective actions, quality documentation, and material traceability. Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and root-cause analysis skills.
