Our technology mirrors our people - Smart, Innovative & Forward Thinking www.geidea.net To maintain competitive advantage as we grow, we are currently looking for a new Senior Accountant Job purpose: Keeps the books of the group’s Indian entity complete and closed on time from Cairo: records costs and the cost-plus service revenue billed to the group, reconciles the balance sheet, prepares the group reporting pack and supports the local auditor and tax advisors for statutory and tax filings in India. Acts as the finance link between India management, KSA finance and Group Finance Responsibilities: Own the monthly close and general ledger of the Group's Indian entity, ensuring the books are complete, accurate and closed on time. Record and bill the entity's cost-plus service revenue to the Group and reconcile the related intercompany balances. Prepare balance sheet reconciliations, accruals and provisions and clear reconciling items each month. Prepare the monthly reporting pack to Group Finance. Prepare the statutory financial statements (March year-end) and support the local auditor through the audit. Coordinate with the local tax advisors in India to ensure tax filings are prepared and submitted on time. Act as the finance link between India management, the KSA finance team and Group Finance. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field. 2–4 years of relevant experience in general ledger accounting or financial reporting. Good knowledge of IFRS; exposure to Indian statutory reporting is a plus. Hands-on experience with month-end close and balance sheet reconciliations. Experience working with external auditors and tax advisors. Very good SAP knowledge is required. Strong attention to detail and organisational skills. Good communication skills in English and the ability to work with remote stakeholders. IFRS diploma is preferred. Experience in the Fintech/Financial Services industry is preferred. المهام المطلوبة : العمل على ميكروباص الشركة ضمن خطوط نقل الموظفين. توجد مشاوير خارجية حسب الحاجة. مرتب اساسي و حوافظ و ساعات اضافية. يشترط رخصة مهنية.

مراقبة مستويات المخزون للتأكد من توفر الكميات المطلوبة وتحديد مستويات التخزين المناسبة لتجنب النقص أو الزيادة في أطار التنسيق مع الادارة المعنية. الرقابة والمراجعة على كافة اجراءات دورة الشراء للتأكد من دقتها وصحتها فى اطارة اجراءات وسياسات الدورة المستندية. المتابعة والتنسيق مع ادارة المشتريات لضمان توفير الاصناف المطلوبه فى مواعيد التسليم المخططه لها. رقابة على كافة المعاملات المخزنية بمستنداتها لكافة المخازن للتأكد من دقتها وصحتها فى اطارة اجراءات وسياسات الدورة المستندية.

Key Responsibilities Process and calculate travel agent commissions based on booking and sales data. Review commission statements and ensure accuracy of payments and deductions. Reconcile agent accounts, invoices, and commission balances. Investigate and resolve discrepancies between booking, payment, and commission records. Maintain accurate accounting records and supporting documentation. Assist with accounts payable/receivable activities and month-end reconciliations. Prepare commission reports and basic financial analysis for management. Coordinate with travel agents, sales teams, and internal finance teams to resolve payment-related queries. Ensure transactions are processed in line with company policies and accounting procedures. Requirements 1–2 years of accounting or finance experience. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Fluent English (both written and verbal) Strong Excel skills and attention to detail. Good numerical and analytical skills. Ability to work with large volumes of transactions accurately. Experience in travel, hospitality, or commission-based environments is a plus. Show more
