The Role We're hiring a mid-level QA Tester to own the quality of the features we ship for our partners. You'll work directly with our engineers and designers on combat, gameplay systems and VFX. This isn't an entry-level seat. We expect you to plan your own testing, write clear testcases, and push back when something doesn't feel right to play. You'll also help junior testers grow as the team scales. Key Responsibilities Plan, write and maintain test plans and test cases for new features, from design through release. Execute functional, regression, compatibility and performance testing on PC. Lead exploratory testing sessions to find edge cases, exploits and balance problems that scripted tests miss. Log clear, reproducible bug reports in JIRA or ClickUp, with accurate severity, priority, repro steps and supporting video or logs. Triage and verify fixes with the development team, and track bugs through to closure. Work closely with engineers and designers to understand features early and flag quality risks before they reach build. Own regression suites for key systems and keep them current as the game changes. Give structured feedback on game feel, usability and player experience, not just defects. Report on build quality and test coverage in team meetings and milestone reviews. Bug reports and partner communication are in English. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Game Design or a related field, or equivalent experience. Solid grasp of testing principles and methods: test design techniques, regression strategy, severity vs. priority. Hands-on experience with bug tracking tools such as JIRA or ClickUp. Proven ability to write test plans and test cases that others can run without help. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with sharp attention to detail. Comfortable working to milestones in a fast-paced, multi-project environment. A genuine passion for video games and a strong understanding of game mechanics.
