We are seeking a detail oriented and commercially driven Commercial Specialist to support pricing strategy, tender submissions, cost control, and contract management within the aviation and ground handling sector. The role focuses on ensuring commercial accuracy, profitability, and competitiveness by bridging commercial, operations, and invoicing functions. The ideal candidate will play a key role in reviewing costs, validating invoices against services, and preparing high-quality commercial proposals. Key Responsibilities • Prepare, review, and submit commercial proposals, tenders, and RFP responses in coordination with internal stakeholders • Develop and maintain pricing models and cost structures for ground handling services, permits, fuel coordination, and related services • Analyze profitability of services, contracts, and clients, identifying areas for improvement • Review and validate supplier and airport charges against contracts and actual services provided • Coordinate closely with operations and invoicing teams to ensure alignment between services delivered and billed amounts • Identify discrepancies between airport invoices, internal records, and client billing, and ensure proper resolution • Support in contract drafting, review, and negotiation to ensure commercial protection and clarity • Maintain a database of rates, tariffs, and supplier agreements • Monitor market trends, competitor pricing, and industry benchmarks to support pricing strategies • Generate periodic commercial and financial reports (profitability, pricing analysis, revenue tracking) • Assist in improving internal processes related to cost control, billing accuracy, and commercial workflows Qualifications & Experience • Minimum 5+ years of experience in commercial, pricing, or business analysis roles • Experience in aviation, ground handling, or airport operations is highly preferred • Strong experience in pricing, cost analysis, and tender/RFP preparation • Familiarity with contracts, SLAs, and commercial terms • Experience working with invoicing, supplier billing, or cost validation is a strong advantage Skills & Competencies • Strong analytical and numerical skills with high attention to detail • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pricing models, data analysis) • Solid understanding of commercial and financial concepts • Strong coordination and communication skills across departments • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines • Problem-solving mindset with a focus on accuracy and efficiency • Fluent in English Key Attributes • Detail-oriented and structured • Commercially aware with a focus on profitability • Proactive and accountable • Strong ownership mindset • Ability to challenge discrepancies and improve processes Show more
