Senior Accounting Manager🎯 Job Purpose The Senior Accounting Manager will oversee the Accounting Department, ensuring the timely and accurate preparation of financial statements and reports, while maintaining compliance with governmental regulations, tax laws, Egyptian Accounting Standards (EAS), and IFRS. The role will also focus on developing team capabilities, improving performance, and ensuring effective allocation of responsibilities across the Accounting team. 🔑 Key Responsibilities Lead, supervise, recruit, and evaluate Accounting team members. Develop the professional capabilities of Finance staff through coaching, training, mentoring, and continuous development. Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including: General Ledger Accounts Payable Accounts Receivable Fixed Assets Intercompany Accounts Ensure proper periodic physical counts of fixed assets in accordance with EAS. Ensure proper and timely bank reconciliations. Coordinate with other departments to collect financial information and provide analysis to support business decision-making. Manage and ensure compliance with the period-end closing checklist. Ensure proper application of EAS and IFRS, as well as applicable legal, regulatory, and industry requirements. Ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial reporting. Manage relationships with external auditors, tax consultants, and related parties. Perform other duties as assigned by the direct manager. 🎓 Qualifications & Experience Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting. IFRS, CPA, or ACCA certification is required/preferred as stated in the job requirements. Minimum 10 years of relevant experience. At least 2 years of experience in an audit firm.
