Job Description: As an Associate in the Debt Capital Markets (DCM) team, you will play a pivotal role in structuring, arranging, and executing a wide range of debt financing solutions, including bonds, securitizations, sukuk, syndications, and project finance transactions. You will collaborate closely with financial institutions, development banks, and export credit agencies to mobilize funding and drive successful transaction closures. Key Responsibilities: Capital Markets & Structured Finance: • Advise on and arrange bond, securitization, and sukuk issuances, facilitating successful capital raising for both private and public placements. • Structure, Advise and execute debt arrangement/restructuring, syndications and project finance transactions, ensuring optimal terms for borrowers and investors. • Develop comprehensive financial models and term sheets, providing critical insights for structuring bankable transactions. • Participate in negotiations with rating agencies, legal counsels, and investors, securing favorable credit ratings, credit enhancements, and optimal deal structures. Transaction Execution & Investor Relations: • Marketing and placement of debt instruments to a diverse investor base, expanding participation and driving demand. • Conduct due diligence and risk assessment, effectively mitigating legal, contractual, and technical risks to ensure smooth execution. • Manage facility and security agency services, ensuring seamless transaction closure and adherence to regulatory requirements. • Maintain strong relationships with financial institutions, development banks, and ECAs, leveraging their support to mobilize financing. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in finance, business administration, or economics. 5–7 years of relevant experience in Debt Capital Markets, structured finance, Syndications. Credit certification required; CFA, FMVA or FRM is a plus. Financial modeling & forecasting and credit & risk analysis Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
