Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Cost Accountant role based in Giza. The Cost Accountant will monitor and analyze costs related to coffee beans, capsules, accessories, and machines, ensuring accurate cost allocation across products and operations. Daily responsibilities include preparing and posting journal entries, reconciling cost accounts, and supporting the preparation of financial statements. The role involves tracking inventory costs, reviewing variances, and providing analytical reports to support pricing decisions and profitability analysis. The Cost Accountant will collaborate with operations and procurement teams to improve cost efficiency, maintain internal controls, and support periodic audits and management reporting. Qualifications Strong proficiency in Cost Accounting, including product costing, variance analysis, and cost allocation. Ability to prepare and interpret Financial Statements, with a solid understanding of general Finance principles. Excellent Analytical Skills to evaluate cost data, identify trends, and support data-driven decision-making. Hands-on experience with Journal Entries (Accounting), reconciliations, and maintaining accurate ledgers. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Proficiency with accounting software and MS Excel; familiarity with ERP systems is an advantage. Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Effective written and verbal communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams. Prior experience in manufacturing, FMCG, or retail environments is a plus; interest in the coffee industry is beneficial. Show more
