We are looking for a Senior React Native Engineer to take ownership of the architecture, development, and continuous improvement of high-quality mobile applications across our digital products. This role is suited to an experienced mobile engineer who goes beyond implementing features — someone who can make sound architectural decisions, solve complex technical challenges, optimize application performance, and drive engineering quality from design through production and release. You will work extensively with React Native, TypeScript, and modern mobile development practices, building scalable, secure, and maintainable applications for iOS and Android. You will also leverage AI-assisted engineering tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, and GitHub Copilot to accelerate development while maintaining high standards of code quality, security, and reliability. Qualifications: 8+ years of professional software engineering experience, with substantial hands-on experience in mobile application development using React Native. Strong production experience with React Native, React.js, JavaScript, and TypeScript. Proven experience designing and implementing scalable mobile application architecture and reusable component systems. Strong understanding of mobile application fundamentals, state management, design patterns, navigation, and application lifecycle management. Hands-on experience developing and maintaining applications for both iOS and Android. Experience integrating REST APIs, third-party services, payment gateways, push notifications, and native device capabilities. Strong understanding of mobile performance optimization, memory management, debugging, and production troubleshooting. Experience with native mobile modules and integrations, including working with Swift, Objective-C, Kotlin, or Java, is an advantage. Experience taking ownership of features throughout the entire development lifecycle, from technical design and estimation to development, testing, release, and production support. Experience conducting code reviews, establishing engineering best practices, and providing technical guidance to other engineers. Strong experience with automated testing, mobile application security, and maintaining reliable production releases. Experience using AI coding assistants such as Claude Code, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, or equivalent, with the ability to critically review, validate, and improve AI-generated code. Experience with CI/CD pipelines, automated mobile builds, app signing, and publishing applications to the Apple App Store and Google Play Store. Familiarity with native build tooling, release automation, and tools such as Fastlane is an advantage.
