Job Responsibilities: • Collaborate with IT, Development, Security, and production support teams to automate application deployment and infrastructure operations. • Design, implement, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines for reliable and repeatable software delivery. • Administer and support containerized platforms, including Docker, Kubernetes, and OpenShift. • Manage source-code repositories, branching strategies, Git workflows, and GitOps-based deployment processes. • Monitor infrastructure and application performance, define operational metrics, and implement proactive alerting and observability. • Perform capacity planning and support the implementation of new or upgraded hardware, software, compute, storage, and platform releases. • Perform technical troubleshooting and root-cause analysis for incidents affecting managed environments and production services. • Support infrastructure changes, deployment testing, release validation, and rollback activities. • Implement database replication, clustering, failover, backup, recovery, and disaster recovery solutions to ensure high availability and business continuity. Job Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, Communication Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field. • 2-7 years of relevant experience as a DevOps Engineer. • Good understanding of modern infrastructure technologies, automation practices, security principles, and network protocols. • Hands-on experience in supporting highly available, business-critical, or production environments. Must Have Technical Skills: • Kubernetes, Docker, and OpenShift. • CI/CD tools such as GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or equivalent platforms. • Git, Git workflows, repository management, and branching strategies. • Configuration management and automation tools, preferably Ansible. • Technical knowledge of infrastructure and networking technologies, including DNS, proxy, load balancing, SSL/TLS, and connectivity troubleshooting. • Monitoring and observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/OpenSearch, Splunk, or equivalent solutions. • Container registries, image management, vulnerability scanning, and secure secrets-management practices. • Understanding of databases, storage, backup, high availability, and disaster recovery concepts. • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud is preferred. Preferred Certifications: • Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA), Certified Kubernetes Application Developer (CKAD), or Certified Kubernetes Security Specialist (CKS). • Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA) or Red Hat OpenShift certification. • GitLab, Ansible, Terraform, Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud certifications are an advantage.
